We're home, and getting our land legs back. Dig some more tour pics on our flickr page, it was a great trip.

Would you like to hear a song from our forthcoming album? Go to our myspace page to hear Las Palmas. The new record, Ticonderoga, won't be out till April, but we will sneak you some peeks now and then.

Vanwordgames end today, and all nineteen shows went off without a
hitch. Jiggety jig. Now we remember how to be regular New York people,
after a month of roadside attractions. Let's hang out.

Internet telephone won't rotate this picture for me, but yes, that is
a sink in the shape of Texas. Quick stop in Amarillo on the way to
oklahoma city. Seen lots of snow, followed by lots of grass. Vantastic.

The Roosevelt

We had a great time last night at the Roosevelt in Phoenix, AZ. The atmosphere was great, the food and wine divine, and the audience so supportive and sweet. Thanks to SilverPlatter for filming and posting the show:

Dave Dawda, Shirt Universalist, with his twin bass brother Dario, in
Phoenix.

Club Spaceland. Very LA. Except the drum monitor didn't work.
Definitely NOT good enough for Hollywood.

We recorded a lovely version of "We'll See" with our good friend
Burton Li in his living room in SF. We had previously recorded with
him a year ago when we were out West, and we were excited to continue
the tradition. I used a suitcase as a kick drum, which is a common
occurence in the Mia Riddle band, although it was a first for me.
